Practical Magic (1998)

It's finally autumn again! You know what that means: more cozy clothes, more warm beverages, more of the color orange in general, and more vaguely Halloween themed movies in all of your media-related podcast feeds! A thirty-years-later sequel to this one just came out, so for October this month the Manatees took a look at 1998's Practical Magic, directed by Griffin Dunne and starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. And boy, is it a mess. That we loved. That's still a mess. We're allowed to do that!

Float along with the manatees as they discuss the importance of timekeeping, small town social dynamics, puritan hairstyles, overly qualifying support, and the inadequacy of trees in New England. Most of it's relevant, we promise. (Tenuously.)
